Chris Brown

Chris Brown was discovered at a gas station in Tappahannok, Virginia at just age sixteen! He came out with his first self-titled single, "Run it." It had made top 100 in 2005. He went on to be one of the biggest artist in modern day society. He taught himself how to both dance and sing. Michael Jackson had been his inspiration. Chris was known to be so polite and generous. His talent was real, meaning it was his very own voice. He didn't use anything to produce his voice. Not to long ago there was a little incident with him and his girlfriend, Rihanna. It had him hated right and left. But his true fans supported him through it and is back making his music. Some of his most well known songs are: Run It, Excuse Me Miss, Say goodbye, Dueces, Kiss Kiss, With You, and Gimme That.

Chris Brown is personally one of my favorite artist. He has the voice of an angel and is wayyyy better than Michael Jackson at dancing. His songs NEVER get old, to me at least. I can always find myself belting them out. I enjoy all of his performances. When anyone tries to challenge him beause they don't think it's his real voice he accepts it and proves them wrong. I absolutely love Chris Brown and i really hope to meet him one day.

Little Moments by Brad Paisley

Popular Genres of Music

There are many types of generes throughout the world. Each culture tends to have their own style. The United States have come across many different types. They come and go, some longer than others, but they were all once very popular here. Such as, Country Music, Rock, Hip Hop and Rap, and Pop.
Country music is the best selling music in North America. You find that most country singers are people in cowboy boots and hats, but it sells well. There are different types of country such as blue grass, or folk, or even just the plain ole country music. A few modern day country songs are Little Moments and She's Everything by Brad Paisley, Alright by Darius Rucker, Big Green Tractor by Jason Aldean, and Our Kind of Love by Lady Antebellum.
Hip Hop, Rap, and Pop is what most kids in today's society listens to. Hip Hop and rap is really just thugs talking about vulgar things. It's not a great thing to listen to but kids do get caught up in the beats. I must admit, they are very catchy beats. Most everybody loves at least one pop song. Pop is what most people today sing. Pop songs are sung about anything and everything. Some slow, some up lifting, and some just really fast. It just depends. Popular songs of these genres are songs such as, Right Above It and Drop the World by Lil' Wayne, Romans Revenge by Niki Minaj, and Teenaged Dream by Katy Perry.
We tend to think of rock as "oldies," which is music in the 60s-80s. Rock is just loud heavy beats that run through your mind. Rock are songs that you can just sit back and belt out. You can really feel it and get into it by playing the guitar solo. A lot of older people like Rock. A well known rock song is, I Love Rock N' Roll.
